Kate Ziegler is a 19-year-old American world record distance swimmer who won two gold medals at the 2005 and 2007 World Championships in the 800m and 1,500m m Freestyle final. An outstanding high school swimmer, she made her international debut at the 2004 FINA Short Course World Championships in Indianapolis.
