- March 07 2008 - Hayley McGregory became the 4th World record breaker in a LZR Racer at the All American Long Course Championships in Austin Texas last week. British born McGregory stormed her 50m backstroke and shattered the existing record with a time of 28.00secs. The history making swim came as part of the 200 medley relay race which totalled 1:57.08.
McGregory's new record follows in the wake of world fastest swims by Speedo sponsored Eamon Sullivan, Kirsty Coventry and Natalie Coughlin, all of whom raced in LZR Racer suits.
